Returns Policy

If you would like to arrange a return or exchange, please contact hello@paintonline.ie with your order number and contact details.

We recommend checking all orders immediately upon delivery and contacting us as soon as possible if there are any issues with your order.

Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Items

Orders should be checked upon receipt and any claims for incorrect supply, short supply, transit damage or invoice discrepancies must be made within 1 day of delivery.

Where possible, we kindly ask customers to photograph any damage or issues in the original packaging.

Paint Online will arrange replacement or return shipping for affected items where appropriate.

Mixed Paints

Bespoke Mixed Paints

Paints from Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Paint & Paper Library, Colourtrend, Dulux, Fleetwood, Sherwin Williams Prestige and Tikkurila are mixed specifically to your selected colour and finish.

Because these products are made to order, we cannot accept returns due to change of mind or incorrect ordering.

EU Consumer Rights

Under Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, bespoke or personalised goods are exempt from the standard 14 day cooling off period.

As mixed paints are customised specifically for each customer, these products are non-returnable once ordered.

Change of Mind Returns

Eligible Returns
  • Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Customers are responsible for arranging and paying return shipping.
  • We strongly recommend using tracked or insured postage.
Product Conditions
  • Pre-mixed paints may be returned if unopened and unused.
  • A €10 restocking fee applies per returned paint can.
  • Accessories must be unopened, unused and in original packaging.
  • Tester pots and samples are final sale and non-refundable.

Refund Information

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method once the return has been received and approved.

Refunds are typically completed within 5 days after the returned items have been processed.

Orders that originally qualified for volume or promotional discounts may have refund values adjusted accordingly if returning part of the order affects discount eligibility.

A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required for all refunds or exchanges.
